The last wonderbird has finally left the nest. i moved in saturday and things went pretty well. at first i was like, this kind of sucks, i feel like i have no friends. but that passed pretty quickly haha i've been hanging out with girls from my floor and my roommate but i'm hoping to branch out more... that'll probably happen once classes start and i meet people from different halls and everything. my roommate, jess, is pretty cool. i can tell that i might get annoyed with random habits of hers, like talking about how small she is haha. but we're getting along well and we seem to be on the same page about a lot of things. she likes going to bed early, but sometimes i've wanted to go out and meet people. i just don't really want to go down to the quad by myself to be like.. heyyyyyyy guys.
we've gotten to know the girls across the hall pretty well, and some other girls further down the hall. katie, a friend of courtneys from apple valley, lives right by us, so we've hung out with her a bit too. her roommate seems a little more social and party-ish so maybe i'll get to know her better as well... i don't want to go out and get trashed, but i feel like by going to bed by 12, i'm missing out on something. so we'll see what happens in that department.
i need to meet more boys too. so far i've only talked to one for longer than like, 2 minutes. his name was dillon and hes from california :] he seems really cool actually and showed us his room haha because its way tinier than ours.. but i haven't really seen him since then. it's just weird because the guys who go up and talk to girls just want to hook up with them. but i don't really want to go up to guys and introduce myself because i don't want them to think i'm hitting on them haha. so that's a bit strange.
my classes start tomorrow, and i'm kind of looking forward to it. it'll give me something to do during the times when i usually sit and wonder what to do. i just hope it isn't too crazy, study and homework-wise.
so yeah. hopefully i will meet some more testosterone soon. i think the fact that jess is really girly probably has something to do with that haha... well, that's about it. i'm going to get all ready for classes tomorrow and maybe go find some boys somewhere haha. i hope you all are doing well :]
